Theater

« Nothing is lost,  nothing is created,
everything is transformed »
A. Lavoisier

An actor is like lead, melting, fusing, yet intent on not losing its own properties, fitting into the mold of the exact character the director has in mind, adapting its shape to actually become this character, no matter how far it is from the actor's identity.

I like the idea of reshaping, changing appearance, age, gender, as a chameleon adapts to the environment.

And when I coach an actor or actress, I like to take time to understand which alloy they're made of, and be the flame which helps them merge into the character without losing their own qualities.
